Hair//Blond. Falls to below her shoulders. Not too thin, not too thick. No actual cut, just trimmed. No bangs. She's dyed her hair in the past a very blunt black just for fun.

Body//Skinny. A little too skinny, in fact. Fairly short, five foot three.

General Looks//
Long blonde hair is her one vanity. Sky loves to leave it down, and spends most of her grooming time brushing it flat and keeping it frizz free. She inherited the colour from her mother, who had very fine, pretty blonde hair. When the girl does take her hair up, and tie it back, usually it's with a pretty coloured ribbon, since that looks way more classy than a ponytail holder. She dyes her hair now and then various colours with wizard dye that doesn't last too long. In the past, she dyed her hair really dark black-- just for fun. She often considers doing it again, and will probably do so.
Sky has bright blue-green eyes that are the focal point of her face. She prefers to wear makeup that enhances their colour, usually natural looking brown eyeliner and no eyeshadow. Mascara is always black, for some reason or another. The girl highly dislikes wearing any other colour mascara.
What's in the heart is all that matters.

General Personality//
+ PRETENDER: Jazz doesn't like to be close to people, no friendships or anything of the like. She may pretend to be close to someone, mimicking the things people do when their close, but she doesn't like to be emotionally involved with anything. But being human, this happens to her naturally. And when it does, she tries to separate herself from the person that she has grown close to. The only person that she trusted without a doubt left her in a foreign country, and she's never forgiven him.
+ TALKATIVE/WITHDRAWN: She's chatty sometimes. She's silent other times. It really depends on her mood. She has horrible mood swings that leave her withdrawn and sullen and sometimes even depressed. She also has mood swings that leave her happy and feeling incredibly chatty. Often Jasmine worries that she's bipolar or something.
+ DISTRACTABLE: Her attention span for one focused thing is zilch. 'Nuff said.
+ TEMPERAMENTAL: She doesn't ever get angry with someone without reason, but when she does have reason, the amount of her anger is unreasonable. She rarely holds grudges, though. While her anger is easily stirred up, it burns itself out quickly.
+ LACKS FOCUS/AMBITION: Jazz doesn't know what to do with herself most of the time. She attempts to keep herself occupied writing short stories, poems, and longer fiction, but beyond that-- she has no idea what to do with her life. She worries that her life will be meaningless.
+ PASSIONATE: Jazz throws herself into something that she believes in strongly. She is strong willed, and never gives up on something that she believes in. Often times her passion will be misdirected and her efforts pointless.
+ IRRATIONAL: She does stupid things. She says stupid things. She usually doesn't think before doing something. Sometimes she thinks too late, and makes big mistakes.
+ HARD/EASY TO READ: She can hide emotions well, mostly. Anger is one thing that she cannot hide, because her eyes darken to a navy colour, and usually she scowls. But if she tries to hide sadness, it's easily done. She's good at pretending, and usually people don't know her true emotions.[/ul][/i][/size]

History//
Martha Ashton never wanted to have a baby. Especially a baby with the 'trashy' Patrick Greyson. But he was oh-so-charming, with rugged good looks, and she just couldn't stay away from him. Oh, he wasn't her boyfriend. She was sure to be sure that he knew this. But they did have various flings, ones she knew her mother (the high society woman, of good taste and class) would not approve of. Martha herself was much like her mother. A perfectly mannered demeanor, with looks to match. She aimed to be the epitome of class. With Patrick, she was something else. Something more raw, something with more passion. Her reasons behind her relationship with the man at age nineteen was probably late rebellion. She never could materialize what actual thought was put behind herself lowering to the viewpoint of someone of the oh-so-horrid lower middle class. Patrick, on the other hand, was very much in love with Martha. While she never loved him, or so she claimed, he was constantly thinking about her. And when she became accidentally pregnant by him (not finding out for several months that she was indeed pregnant), he convinced her to keep the baby. He tried to convince her to marry him, but of course, she would never do that-- since her mother threatened to disown her. Having never worked a day in her life, Martha decided to leave town, have the baby, and give it up for adoption. That way she could return to her comfortable life without recourse for her actions. But when the time came to have the baby, a few weeks before it was due, Martha told Patrick of her decision of adoption. He, of course, vehemently disproved of her decision. In a moment of complete and utter weakness and anger, she impulsively told him that he would have to take the baby, since he so obviously didn't want his child to be adopted. And so he did.
Jazz grew up with only her father, Patrick. Martha had told Patrick never to try to see her again, that being said, she did visit from time to time, mostly out of curiousity, to see her child. The little girl wasn't told whom Martha was, but over time, the resemblance between the two of them was nearly unmistakable. When Jazz asked Patrick if Martha was her mother, he, of course, told her the truth. When five year old Jasmine confronted her mother, Martha grew frightened. She was nearly twenty four, and dating a very nice, very well mannered duke from England. A duke, she repeatedly told Patrick. So she didn't need her perfect relationship speckled with the dirt of her past. Em overheard this, and took this to mean that her mother thought that she was the dirt. Heartbroken, Jazz refused to see Martha from that day forward. Her father, once a very impulsive bassist that never seemed to be able to stick to one band for longer than half a year, was jobless. And he had only been sticking around in New York because of Martha. But now that Martha had shown her true colours (he had been a bit blind to the obvious before), he had no reson to stay. From then on, Jazz and Patrick wandered from place to place, staying for no particular amount of time. First Boston, Mass. Then a taste of Maine, then New Hampshire. Getting sick of the east coast, they traveled to Oregon, then to Chicago. She was homeschooled, but her father, for first grade through third. But that by no means make her sheltered. She was outgoing, and met many other children everywhere she went. The short time span that she stayed in each place gave her a false sense of anonymity. For some reason, she felt that she could do whatever she wanted, because her father and her would be leaving again anyways. And so they did, until Patrick managed to get a steady job in Chicago. They stayed there for far too long, in Jazz's opinion. She was twelve, and in sixth grade at the time. When Patrick was fired (for use of marijuana during work hours), he decided that America was overrated, and moved the small family to Europe. Martha was more than happy to lend him the money for the move, glad to get the 'dirt' away, so she could spend more time romancing the Duke, who was planning on becoming part of the embassy of England in the United States.
The pair did well in Europe, mostly living in the larger cities of well known countries. During a long stay in London, Jazz managed to adopt a very convincing English accent. She really did love London, and tried to convince her father to remain. She went to school, and made friends. She was rather creative with telling them about her past. Lying, to be quite honest, about her mother. Sure, she lived in NYC. But she was married to a Duke. And actually, Jazz was the secret daughter of that Duke. Or so she told her classmates. As for her schooling, she got sub par grades, and got busted for smoking (luckily on cigarettes several times. The only class in which she excelled in was Literature. Patrick figured that the reason why she was doing so poorly was the location, and that Jazz probably had the same case of wanderlust that he had. Thus he moved them again. To a large city in Russia, Moscow. The girl hated the change. For once, she had actually liked a place where she had moved to. But now, since Patrick was playing the parent card, and moving them again, she grew angry with him. She acted out more, and began to do even more crazy things. Such as stealing a boat and crashing it into a wall (luckily she didn't get caught), getting pregnant and miscarrying, starting to smoke weed again, etc.
Martha had married the duke after their years of dating. The wedding was a very fancy affair. Mum sent a letter to her daughter and ex lover to their grungy apartment in Moscow. It contained many large, emotionless words, and nothing that Jazz cared to read again. She burned the letter, and in her thoughtlessness and anger, burned part of their apartment as well. Needless to say, they were evicted. On the streets, Patrick with no job, Jazz with only half of freshman year of school under her belt. They moved in with Patrick's girlfriend at the time, who was seven years older than his daughter herself. She was an aspiring model, living in a decent condo in a decent part of town. Her career seemed to be taking off fairly well, for saying that the industry was hardly prevalent in that part of Europe. Anyways, everything was going fairly well, for saying that Jazz had managed to get herself a summer job, as did Patrick. He had found out that he had a knack for setting up audio in studio and live performances for bands. And he could also handle a video camera very well. So he was doing a part time gig of taping bands play, and a full time gig of setting up and taking down their equipment before and after the shows. The model's career was shortlived, and she kicked the two out. But by then, they both had managed to make enough money to afford a similar place just down the street from where they had been living before.
Anyways, the both of them realized that it was time to move on again. So after she finished her sophomore year of school, she moved with her father back to the states. They moved back to Martha's flat in Manhattan-- she had offered it to Patrick years ago out of guilt-- and Patrick decided to send her to a boarding school.
Oh great, just what I need...
The hell your stuck in...

Clique//Newcomer. No, not a noob. She's certainly not afraid of people. Nor would she travel in a pack. In time, she'll probably become a part of The Nyxs. So perhaps call her a Nyx, Noob. Or something like that.
General Insight//They probably think she's a little weird. Maybe they think she's on drugs, since Jazz does some very idiotic things. Anyways, she's elusive, exclusive, and only talks alot to people she knows well. I guess they'd call her 'cool'.
In Another's Head//"Whoa, who's that girl. I don't think i've seen her around before..."
'Cause I wanna know you a little better.
