Hair// Black, quite short and layered. Nothing particularly special about it, sometimes held back by a bandana.
Eyes// Greenish, quite friendly almost innocent, or stupid depending on your point of view...

Style//A mix between gothic and rocker, some days it swings more to one side or the other but generally sits in a balance between the two.
Skin//Lightly tanned
General Looks// Søren wouldn’t say he was anything special in the looks department but he likes to think he has some nice features. His hair being one of them, dyed black in colour. It is straight but occasionally styled using gel and arranged to fall over one eye or resemble a hedgehog. He is also fair skinned so tries to avoid spending too long outside as he goes from having a tan to getting burned easily.
His eyes are a light hazel with a very slight green tint to them and often framed by makeup, something which Søren does allow himself to become slightly obsessed with and often gives off a gothic appeal.
As for clothing when Søren generally likes to stand out, wearing jeans and a shirt just wont do. Granted things are mostly in black and various shades of his favourite colour. Improving the look by adding accessories such as necklaces, rings and belts.

Slightly arrogant, can't work in a team and has a tendency to take over whether he means to or not.
Strengths//He like a agony uncle, can sit and listen for hours to some ones problems and still seem interested, as he is. A good shoulder to cry on.
He can thrash the shit out of the guitar.. well likes to think he can. Truthfully he not that bad but no Slash either. He can do enough to impress girls which is all that matters.

General Personality// In a few words Søren is a mixed personality sort of guy, who most of his behaviour could and probably would be misinterpreted. He likes socialising but is very selective about who it is done with and for how long, generally choosing not to place himself in the centre of a group. For a conversation he won’t openly speak unless it is one on one with another person or maximum of three other people but is very chatty when he does start a conversation. He does like to be alone sometimes, only when he has chosen to be but isn’t the type to live alone, the trait ‘Need to be needed’ pretty much sums him up. He feels like he should make others happy, and often feels lost when his skills are not wanted. Saying that Søren is very willing to give but more reluctant to take anything back, not always because he feels it is wrong but he doesn’t feel rewarded by gifts as such, a good deed is it own reward, right?

If your feeling low then Søren is one you can count on, he is sympathetic to another feelings so you can trust him to mean his word if he says he feels sorry for what someone is going through and will be waiting with a tissue should it be needed. On the other hand, he finds it hard to explain in words any problem he may be in or feeling, leading gloomy behaviour to be impetrated as a child like sulk when he may just be upset about a problem and not willing to trouble anyone with the knowledge of it. It can and often has resulted in a fight of sorts as Søren comes across as behaving like an arsehole, when he really is just overtired and no good at explaining how he feels, only after much probing by a close friend explaining what was the matter.

Søren often comes across as arrogant and he is in some respects. Not always by meaning to as he does really believes that things will get done better and quicker if done by himself. He has a strong work ethic and likes to get a job done well to the best of his ability and go the extra five miles to make it perfect, often by going out his way to do so. He will willingly help someone else so can be taken advantage of but these occurrences a few and far between, when it has happened Søren knows but wouldn’t openly complain or say his work deserved better then what he got. Boasting just doesn’t come naturally to him, if it did then he may well get more negative effects and get some sort of psychosomatic illness by accept more then he can cope with. As it is he doesn’t get enough sleep, self inflicted though really.

When it comes down to it, family always comes first no matter what the situation and since Søren has little family to speak of, it is more important to him then most. He easily gets embarrassed if someone close does something silly and will take it as if he himself was the one to make a fool out of himself.

History//Søren was born on the seventh of October, in hospital in Kitee, in the east of Finland as his parents had to unexpectedly stop over while on an exploratory trip, not really expecting Søren to come for at least another three weeks. Although his parents, Faith and Erlend were expecting a girl and slightly surprised at having another boy, they were pleased. It meant redecorating his room slightly but it was a small expense for having such a beautiful child. They already had two other boys Jani and Kimi, twins aged five so Faith was a little disappointed at not being able to even up gender ratio slightly. She had adopted them on from a previous failed relationship that Erlend had having had them dumped onto him when his previous partner left soon after the twins birth. Søren's brothers were quite happy at the result, only being five at the time they were still a bit young to really understand the in and out of having a baby around, they rather saw it that they were now the older brothers, therefore grown-up.

The couple had always had a thirst for adventure and so never married, they didn’t have the time nor the money to do so and were quite happy with sex before marriage. They intended that there children, if they ever had any would not spend there lives in one place so when Faith met Erlend and took on her first sons, they almost immediately were taken on a holiday.

Søren mother was originally from England but when her family moved to America she stayed behind to study art, and being adventurous type went backpacking round Europe where she met Søren's farther Erlend who was a salesman for small businesses and went giving advice and on how to grow their company. He travelled for his job between home and Finland, spending most of his time in the latter which was ideal for the adventurous mother. It meant she had a home in two places and job opportunities would be higher as she could learn the language off her husband and Finnish in her spare time.

Having settled down for half the year in Norway, and later in the year in Finland if Erlend job called for it, with her partner and now three children she was missing her old family but reluctant to move. But her mother was getting frail and her dad himself wasn’t in the best health to look after her, this did upset her but she kept most of the pain hidden from her children, so the decision was made they should stay where they were for a while. Going back to England did come as a possibility but they had little relatives around as most were in America with Faith parents, so them moving too would not change the fact that they were not going to be around much longer. Besides, Jani and Kimi were at the age to attend school and Søren was young and slightly premature so more travelling was not the best idea.

As his brothers were old enough they were to attended the local school, followed by Søren but there were problems. His parents had gone through a rather messy ‘divorce’, Erlend was still travelling lots for work but had taken on more jobs, leaving his partner behind. Faith had wanted to join him but the job offered no compensation for family so after more and more heated arguments they went there separate ways. Søren was twelve at the time while his brothers were older and so the decision was left to them who they wanted to live with, they decided to stay with there dad while Søren had no choice and was taken kicking and screaming back to England.

It was a lot for him to take on and being young he was confused as to why their was such a sudden change in his lifestyle. He had lost a father a brothers now and had little explanation for it. Being used to travelling he found it hard adjusting to living in one home and often acted up, leaving his mother stressed and exhausted with having no relatives to help her. She often unwillingly took this out on her son which just led for Søren to act up more. School came as a blessing for both really, it gave Faith a break and Søren something to focus on. Although he preformed well his behaviour was noticeable different to the other students, not always bad but where as other students got excited, Søren was quiet and randomly lashed out.

He was sent to see a counsellor, at the time though he just saw it as a friendly teacher to talk him thorough his home life. It seemed to help and as Søren got older his behaviour improved until it didn’t seem he had a problem. Then his dad came back into the mix. He was now looking to make amends with his wife, Søren was understandable reluctant at having his life changed again and so started falling back on old habits. Faith suggested to her son that he tried living with his dad in Norway for a short time, saying it would do him good and he see his brothers.

Reluctantly Søren agreed and left to live with them for the summer. His brothers were teenagers now so had little in common with their little brother and Søren felt this, knowing his was unaccepted and they disliked him for what they saw as the reason for there dads break-up. Already themselves getting into trouble, Søren soon got caught up and started joining his twin brothers on nights out drinking, not once his dad saying of the goings on to his with other then things were fine. But it didn’t take long for things to get out of hand.

Søren was prone to times of depression and having overheard a row on the phone with his parents, he ran away. In a few days he was to return home but having heard how well his mother was he didn’t want to burden her or his dad with his problems. For five days nobody knew where Søren was, how he was spending the night. He was found shivering in an abandoned shed on the outskirts of town almost ten miles from home, not responding to any questioning and just muttering unrecognisable sentences in the little Norwegian he had learnt as a child from his dad and Finnish he had picked up from travelling.

In hospital Søren was treated for problems related to the cold. After a few weeks he was sent home to his mum who soon decided her son needed a break, or more correctly, she needed a break from his mood swings and looked up schools in America. Her son had talent and living with relatives would do him good if he missed travelling so much. So after a few months of planning and getting money, Søren was sent out there.
